There are a number of reasons why so many people have bad credit. One of the main reasons is the unrestrained spending with credit cards. Until the economy weakened not many people were concerned about credit card or any other kind of debt because it was reasonably easy to get a personal loan. Unsecured bad debt can lead to problems.
